Division By Two!

Scientists place things in categories based on their external characteristics. The process of determining how groups will be organized is called classification. Below are photographs of some non-living things. Select the answers to sort them based on whether they are hard or soft.

Analysis:

  1. Besides hard and soft, what other ways can you think of that could be used to divide non-living things into two groups?
