What's Hiding In That Water!

Imagine a hike in the mountains. You find a stream with a small waterfall like the one in the photograph above. You are hot and thirsty. The cold water looks very good. But remember: don't drink that water! "Why not?" you may ask. After you read these Sci-ber Text pages, you may understand! Something may be hiding in that water!

Enjoy your Sci-ber text exploration of the microbes! If you find a word that you do not understand, please visit the "Science Language Students Should Know And Use" Web page.

Have fun!
